Famous American rapper Jay Z is set to release his first ever signature scent for men, Gold. As part of the rap mogul’s collaboration with Barneys, Gold will launch exclusively at the luxury department store starting November 20th, followed by a mass rollout across 2,000 additional retailers — including Macy’s, Sephora, Nordstrom, Dillard’s, Belk, Bon-Ton and Ulta — on Black Friday, November 29th.
Sealed in a gorgeous white bottle topped by a gold stopper – inspiring a precious accessory in the hands of any confident and powerful man. Jay Z’s perfume is licensed with Parlux and created by perfumer Firmenich.
Created by Ilias Ermenidis, Jay Z Gold perfume blends citrusy/woody accords to make this smell tantalizing and unforgettable. It will blend a layered blend of yellow ginger, white cardamom and grapefruit with a hint of blueberry along with violet leaf, cypress, lavender, vetiver and pink pepper, while the base will melt of golden amber, patchouli, teak and bourbon vanilla.
Packaged in a clean white bottle with gold lettering, the Eau de Toilette will come in three different sizes, ranging from $39 to $79. An accompanying aftershave, aftershave balm, shower gel and deodorant are also in the works.
