Hermès L’Ambre des Merveilles is a beautiful feminine perfume and was created by perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena, while the bottle was designed by Serge Mansau
With L’Elixir, I wanted a tantalizing, mouth-watering composition. With L’Eau Claire, I was looking for clarity, transparency and lightness. With Ambre, the woman becomes sensual and mysterious. For this new chapter, I wanted to relate one of the mysteries of amber, hovering between a delicious treat and sensuality, where vanilla meets the warmth of labdanum, and the moist quality of patchouli.

Reinventing its classic scent L’Ambre des Merveilles, Hermès has unveiled its new fragrance for the GCC, partners with Wissam Shawkat and his incredible calligraphy skills.
Available from September 15, exclusively in all Hermès boutiques around the GCC, the famed French Maison teamed up with Wissam Shawkat to create a unique Arabic type for the special edition L’Ambre des Merveilles bottle.
The story of L’Eau des Merveilles is a poetic tale inspired by the way the house of Hermès looks at the world, as Jean-Claude Ellena, the in-House perfumer of Hermès, created a magical scent developed from the original woody, amber theme.
