To mark the anniversary, Lancôme is launching a new Absolue Precious Oil and also, in collaboration with famous French engraver and jewelry maker Arthus-Bertrand, a special edition of Absolue L’Extrait.

Lancôme is launching, in collaboration with French engraver and jewelry maker Arthus-Bertrand, a special edition of Absolue L’Extrait.

It was 1965 when Lancôme introduced the first Absolue skin cream, a product formulated to fight the signs of aging, nourish the skin and rejuvenate it to reveal its underlying “Golden Glow”. Fifty years later, the French brand has presented the latest item in the Absolue range, Absolue Precious Oil Nourishing Luminous Oil, which is made with rose essential oil and seven other essential oils and plant oils.

The new product is formulated to moisturize the skin and to protect it from exterior stressors by repairing its outer defense barriers. And to celebrate this landmark anniversary in style, Lancôme called upon Arthus-Bertrand to create an exceptional case for Absolu L’Extrait, produced in a limited edition of just 500 units worldwide. All in gold, with cutwork allowing light to shine through, this exclusive case is something of a nod to Lancôme’s ‘Golden Glow’.

Lancome L’Absolue Precious Oil Nutrition Lumière will go on sale from February 2 for €169 (around $206). Price is available on request for the Arthus-Bertrand Limited Edition of Abs.
