This floral explosion releases a profusion of flowers that has the power to make everything seem more positive. Magically evocative notes immediately awaken your deepest senses, giving you the impression of living life in your own secret garden, away from reality.
Created by one of my favourite perfumers Olivier Polge, along with Carlos Benaim and Domitille Berthier, it was introduced ten years ago, in 2005 as an oriental and floral fragrance, and became a true classic and was Allure Best of Beauty award winner.
I found that this has a really sweet, powdery scent that could be overpowering but isn’t. Normally this would put me off a perfume but it hasn’t with this one. You can really smell the patchouli and the orchid adds a sweet elegance to the scent. When this is combined to the subtle luxury of the green tea, you have a really pretty perfume. It is really long-lasting and a few sprays will last for hours, which I always love with a fragrance.
- Top notes: Bergamot, Green Tea, Osmanthus
- Heart notes: Jasmine, African Orange Flower, Freesia, Rose, Orchid
- Base notes: Musk, Patchouli
The gorgeous bottle was designed by Fabien Baron in the shape of a diamond grenade.
You love Viktor & Rolf’s Flowerbomb? Use it with Body Lotion or for the dry skin Flowerbomb Bodycream in its beautiful jar. Or, very special: with Flowerbomb Hair Mist, to give your hair a vèry subtile smell. And when your hair ‘moves’….(wink)…
