Clinique is expanding its Sonic System lineup to include a new Clinique for Men Deep Cleansing Brush and Charcoal Face Wash. As its names suggest, two new products are designed specifically for men.
So as always, Clinique and the almighty Estée Lauder machine are leaps and bounds ahead of the game with the introduction of the first electrical cleansing brush to be targeted specifically towards us guys. The device itself is absolutely the same as the Original Clinique Sonic for Women but it’s the head that comes into its own.
The perfect combination: Clinique Deep Cleansing Face Brush for Men and Charocoal Face Wash
The Clinique For Men Charcoal Face Wash is formulated with activated charcoal, which is a natural ingredient known for its amazing cleansing properties. Charcoal is known to trap toxins, chemicals, dirt and debris, allowing them to be flushed away easily. Activated charcoal is most commonly made from coconut shells or other natural sources, plus: activated charcoal which is an awesome skin care ingredient due to its ability to absorb 100 to 200 times its own weight in impurities as well as breaking down excess surface oil. This porous, coal-like material, traps dirt in its millions of tiny pores. Charcoal has a negative electric charge, which attracts positively charged dirt and oil to bond with it. This detoxifying gel wash, therefore, delivers a deep pore cleansing, as its soothing, non-drying lather gently foams away impurities, dirt and oil, and softens beard.

Complementing the Charcoal Face Wash is the new Sonic System Deep Cleansing Brush, which features an oval shaped brush head with more than 9,000 sonic vibrations per minute. Not only that the brush cleans your skin more comprehensively than hand washing alone, but it also prepares it for more comfortable ‘wet’ shave. It helps dislodge the impurities and oils, and leaves your skin looking and feeling more energized. Light charcoal-grey bristles are softer and designed for cheeks, while darker bristles are tapered to deep-clean pores.
Why do ‘we’ need our own brush: Men’s skin is on average 1.25x thicker on the outer layers (the epidermis) and this, coupled with more testosterone and a few other factors, is why we congest, block and spot up more.
