First look: Estée Lauder x Victoria Beckham makeup

September sees the launch of Victoria Beckham’s very first makeup collection! As announced earlier this year, the house of Estée Lauder has partnered with the famous style icon for a limited edition color cosmetics collection, which represents Victoria’s first-ever makeup launch. In 2014, Victoria Beckham collaborated with Nails Inc. on a limited edition nail polish duo, and now she’s set to unveil a full makeup range that launches in the United States and United Kingdom on September 13th, 2016.

As Victoria Beckham explained, her latest venture is the fulfillment of one of her long – held dream – creating a personal makeup collection that works on a variety of ages and skin tones. At the same time, the collection is aimed at complementing her fashion collection. Estée Lauder is also the beauty sponsor of Beckham’s spring 2017 runway, so guests at the designer’s New York show on September 11th will be the first to see the products in action, as models will be wearing them on the catwalk.

Estée Lauder x Victoria Beckham collection includes 15 stock-keeping units, including a portable light box. In the spirit of Estée Lauder’s latest product innovations, the formulas are multi-tasking. For example, a cream highlighter also moisturizes and tightens the skin.

As Beckham explained in a recent interview with Vogue, she changes her looks depending on where she is in the world and how she’s dressing.  With this in mind, helping to ensure a foolproof application, Beckham has brought together groupings of up to eight products representing the four cities that resonate with her: London, Los Angeles, New York, and Paris. The conveniently sized products can easily fit into the Victoria Beckham light box that includes a removable lighted mirror and different 8 products. The Los Angeles set is youthful and fresh, London conveys more edgy, rock ‘n roll vibe, New York is said to be bold and colorful, while Paris is sophisticated.

Prices range from $30 for the matte lip pencil, to $45 for an Eye Metals Eyeshadow, $95 for the Morning Aura Illuminating Crème. The priciest item in the range is the aforementioned light box, which retails for $1,200
