Since the Panthère was first launched by Cartier in the 1980s to capture the hearts of a younger clientele, it has become an understated symbol of elegance, and made up a big highlight again of Cartier’s new releases at this years SIHH.

The stylish timepiece takes on a new look with a collection that blurs the line between fine watchmaking and jewellery savoir-faire

This year, the Panthère de Cartier is back, and it’s especially the multiple-coiled bracelets in gold, steel or paved in diamonds that are stealing the show – defining it primarily as a piece of jewellery that also tells the time.

At Maison Cartier, the panther – a muse of the French jeweller since 1914 – takes on endless forms. Released earlier this year at Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie Genève (SIHH), the Panthère de Cartier collection now manifests its feminine allure further with an exciting choice of bracelets – available in a double or triple loop, and with chain links in yellow gold, pink gold or white gold that coil seductively around the wrist and lower arm.

Its owing form is supple on the skin, characteristic to the iconic style of the Panthère de Cartier watch that layers elegance upon elegance. Remaining quintessentially Cartier is the dainty square case with rounded corners and its intuitive design. Diamond pave on the case and bezel in selected pink gold and white gold versions further serves to maximise the visual appeal.

These bejewelled variations are complemented by renditions of the original Panthère de Cartier watch in pink gold, entirely paved with diamonds, yellow gold, pink gold and steel, while their bezels are also paved with diamonds.
