Moët & Chandon honors Roger Federer with this spectacular champagne

Roger Federer has been a Moët & Chandon Brand Ambassador since 2012 and has been a professional tennis player for 20 years. Since the sympathetic tennis player has now also won 20 Grand Slam titles, the French Champagne House has decided to honor with a special Magnum Cuvée. This vintage Moët & Chandon ‘Greatness since 1998’ was specially created to celebrate that milestone.

The first thing you notice about this special bottle of bubbly is the outside. Where we normally see the dark glass with the recognizable gold neck and Moët ribbon, this time it is a jet black bottle. The bottle is wrapped in a layer of leather, which immediately gives it a very special look.

You naturally wonder why the famous champagne house has opted for a leather casing. As can be clearly seen in the photos, it is the reflection of the grip on the handle of a tennis racket. Each bottle is hand signed by the tennis king. In addition, the proceeds will benefit the Roger Federer Foundation.

Each copy will be sold for a price of €19,998 ($24,000). It is expected that the price will only increase in the coming years. Interested parties can express their preference towards Moët & Chandon. The bottle will then be produced on request. A true collector’s item. The champagne will be available from 1 July.

Come into the beautiful world of Moët & Chandon.
