Acqua di Parma Mirto di Panarea Limited edition for Lunar New Year

Especially for Lunar New Year, Italian perfume house Aqua di Parma launches its famous fragrance from its ‘Blue Collection’ Blu Mediterraneo Mirto di Panarea in a limited edition flacon for Lunar New Year. 

Created by François Demachy in 2008, the composition of the fragrance remains unchanged. The marine-aromatic fragrance contains notes of myrtle, basil, lemon, bergamot, accords of sea breeze, jasmine, rose, lentisque, juniper, cedar and amber.

Top: myrtle, basil, Italian lemon, Italian bergamot
Heart: sea breeze accord, jasmine absolut, Damasc rose absolut
Base: lentisque absolut, juniper, Virginian cedar, amber

It is named after the island of Panarea, the smallest of the seven inhabited volcanic islands in the Tyrrhenian Sea, located in the Aeolian archipelago. The fragrance composition conveys seascapes and their scents, aromatic herbs and intoxicating flowers, together with salty breezes that come from the sea. Masculine and soothing, this fresh fragrance influenced by the Mediterranean would be a wonderful gift to present at the arrival of the Year of the Ox.

Acqua de Parma’s Mirto Di Panarea Lunar New Year Limited Edition comes in a blue flacon with a red cap, packed in a red cylindrical box with glossy golden dots, at selected stores.

Acqua di Parma travel sets

Acqua di Parma have launched travel sets of some of its popular Blu Mediterraneo fragrances, and to celebrate the launch, Acqua di Parma have created a unique one-off space in Harvey Nichols, inspired by the celebrated fragrance collection.

Parma Blu Mediterraneo La Collezione travel sets, a superb selection of three inspiring fragrances from the Blu Mediterraneo range presented in 30ml bottles. Both sets, chosen by Acqua di Parma, but one can be personalised to the customer’s own preferences by selecting any three fragrances from the Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo range.

The two Acqua di Parma sets include:

• Fico di Amalfi, Bergamotto di Calabria and Arancia di Capri
• Fico di Amalfi, Bergamotto di Calabria and Mirto di Panarea

On 2nd & 8th June Acqua di Parma’s in-house artist, Michalis Christodoulou, will also be on hand for on-site bottle painting and personalisation. Customers will be offered complementary customisation of their bottle with any Blu Mediterraneo purchase.

In addition, all customers who purchase Blu Meditteraneo between 2nd & 8th June will receive a Majolica tile of their choice scented with their favourite fragrance.
