French Maison Balmain has launched a limited edition perfume as part of their ultra-luxe haircare line. The product is a delicate hair mist that leaves your hair smelling fresh and fragrant. Infused with a mixture of silk protein and argan elixir, the perfume not only scents but also nourishes, repairs and protects the hair.
The uplifting fragrance includes notes of star anise, tarragon, pinewood, peach blossom, raspberry, gardenia, orange blossom, cloves, jasmine, rose, ylang-ylang, apricot, lilac amber, vanilla, sandalwood, cedar wood, balsamic and white musk. This is hair fragrance in its purest form and it is subtly diffused throughout the day, amplified by the natural movement of the hair.

Balmain, Paris is H&M’s next guest designer collaboration!
Get ready for #HMBalmaination! H&M’s next designer collaboration will be with the Parisian house of Balmain.
The Swedish fashion company teams up with Balmain, the French couture House under the direction of the very sympathetic Olivier Rousteing. With 29 years is the youngest designer ever at the Frenchman immediately guest H&M.
Starting from november 5, are the designs of Rousteing in the racks of 250 shops and in the webshop. During the Billboard Music Awards Sunday evening were the first items of the collection to see on stage equally.
It all started with a bang. Yesterday night, the creative director of Balmain, Olivier Rousteing, took the red carpet at the Billboard Music Awards together with his friends Kendall Jenner and Jourdan Dunn. They were all dressed in Balmain x H&M – revealing the first pieces of the collection. Through social media, H&M and Balmain invited their fans to join a movement of togetherness with: #HMBalmaination.
“I want to talk to my generation: this is my main aim as a designer. H&M allows me the unique possibility of bringing everyone into the world of Balmain get a piece of the dream and create a global #HMBalmaination: a movement of togetherness, fuelled on a hashtag. The collaboration felt extremely natural to me: H&M is a brand that everybody connects to. It calls for unity, and I am all for it”, says Olivier Rousteing.
Under the creative directorship of young Olivier Rousteing, Balmain – the epitome of French luxury – has grown into a global pop culture phenomenon, with modern day icons like Kim Kardashian and Kanye West marching in the forefront.
“I want to talk to my generation: this is my main aim as a designer.”
Still, Olivier Rousteing has always remained true to the brand’s DNA and its couture legacy. Balmain is all about energy; fun, amusement and freedom, as well as unique craftsmanship. All powered by a showbiz flair – highlighting the brand’s pop charm through the H&M collaboration came as a natural decision.
“We are excited to have Balmain as our guest designer at H&M and create a truly involving experience for everybody. With its mix of couture spirit and streetwear attitude, Balmain owns a unique style, at once opulent and direct, sensual and energetic. It is also closely linked to the show business and music worlds, which adds another element of surprise”, says Ann-Sofie Johansson, Creative Advisor at H&M.
The collection will be available from November 5, in around 250 stores worldwide and online, and will feature clothing and accessories for both women and men.

When Pierre Balmain passed away in 1982, longtime Balmain designer Erik Mortensen led the Maison until 1993, when Oscar de la Renta served as creative director. Last year Oliver Rousteing was named creative director of the French Maison.
Ivoire is the name I gave to a dream. The name of a woman of sovereign beauty, draped in ultra-pale silk. We crossed paths for a moment on the staircase at the Opéra, before she disappeared into the night.
Under supervision of Oliver Rousteing, the French Maison Balmain launches a new perfume for women touched with modern elements and notes, Ivoire. Ivoire is a re-edition of Pierre Balmain’s 1979 signature perfume. The new Ivoire is a modern version of this iconic classic, and highly popular fragrance of the the eighties, created in a way that respects and preserves the heritage and richness of the original and causes nostalgia. The new interpretation is more sophisticated, more luring and more daily. Balmain Ivoire has a delicious aroma that will grab attention.

Balmain Ivoire is created by perfumers Michel Almairac and Jacques Flori in a more fascinating, alluring form yet in a classical but feminine design. Ivoire opens to captivate with accords of mandarin, violet leaf and galbanum along with flowery heart made of rose, jasmine, ylang-ylang and precious iris. The elegant base melts with vetiver, patchouli and cedar, all wrapped up in warm, precious and delicate vanilla.
