Biotherm awarded Butterfly Mark by Positive Luxury

Biotherm has been awarded the Butterfly Mark by Positive Luxury. The French skincare company will join other L’Oréal brands with the mark including Kiehl’s and YSL.

The mark helps consumers identify a luxury brand that ‘cares’; assessment to gain the mark includes the consideration of criteria including transparency, sustainability and philanthropy.

Biotherm’s strong sustainability commitments, which include improving the biodegradability of its formulas, using more biosourced and renewable materials, optimising its packaging, and raising awareness of the importance of ocean conservation, are emblematic of L’Oréal’s overall sustainability engagement.

Biotherm also commits to equal employment, PVC-free packaging and water reduction. It is a member of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil and runs a philanthropy project, Water Lovers, that helps fund projects that create marine-protected areas.

 

 

 

 

King of Grooming David Beckham collaborate with Biotherm Homme

Biotherm Homme has just announced David Beckham as its first global ambassador and I can’t think of a better candidate for the job; he is the King of Grooming after all. However becoming an ambassador isn’t the only thing Beckham will be doing for the brand. He’ll also be collaborating with Biotherm Homme to develop a grooming line….

I’m excited to be working with Biotherm Homme. I’ve been thinking about developing a skincare range for a long time and it wasn’t until I started speaking with Biotherm that it all came together. They are as ambitious as I am, and we look forward to showing everyone the fruits of our labour very soon.

The luxury skin care brand Biotherm launches a new masculine fragrance inspired by the power of the sea and its pleasant freshness named, Biotherm Homme Aquafitness. This fragrance is a fresh and revitalizing fragrance leaving cool frozen feelings on the skin. Biotherm Homme Aquafitness will be liked by many men due to its energy, freshness feelings and invigorating aroma.

Biotherm Homme Aquafitness is composed of marine notes, earthy and refreshing enough to satisfy men during the day. It opens with Sicilian bergamot, tangy Mediterranean lemon and fresh waters of the sea along with refreshing spearmint notes, sweet honeysuckle and flavors of clary sage. This is the coolest moisturizer to come out in a while. It’s a gel that’s super light but very potent in its moisture. It absorbs into your skin almost instantly and goes to work for the entire night. It provides extremely long-lasting moisture to the skin. Meant to be used on the face at night, but I found myself putting this on hands and elbows and it totally works!

One pump is enough for the entire face, and because you won’t be reapplying your moisturizer, a little will go a long way.

French cosmetics company Biotherm is launching a new fragrance Eau Océane – full of freshness, pureness and cleanness. Literally. Biotherm Eau Océane will hydrate the skin with its pure notes and a soft aroma.

Biotherm Eau Océane opens with top notes made of bergamot, lemon, watery fruits along with Sambac jasmine, ‘Firmenich’ molecules – that leaves a cool aquatic freshness, as well as paradisone and cascalone. The base awakes invigorating feelings and emotions thanks to musk, cedar, algae, moss and sand flowers accords. Use it as an Eau de Toilette, use it as a bodyspray.

Biotherm launches Beurre Corporel just in time for the winter season: an all new body butter that is seriously top of the line.

French skin-care company Biotherm will collaborate with French designer Vanessa Bruno over a new feminine perfume L’Eau – launched as a limited edition fragrance. Vanessa Bruno L’Eau will appear on the market in October and will impress women with its delicate notes and fresh aroma. Vanessa Bruno said that L’Eau Perfume will give ‘the impression of walking in a garden early in the morning’.

The nose behind Vanessa Bruno L’Eau Perfume is famous perfumer Bernard Ellena. This feminine and sensual perfume blends fresh/citrusy notes of lemon, mandarin, blood orange, rose, muguet, amber, musk and cedar.
