Kilian is celebrating over ten years of its first fragrance Love, Don’t Be Shy with a new Eau Fraîche. The company has also re-launched Good Girl Gone Bad Extreme and added Body Products to the Black Phantom Memento Mori line-up.
Love, Don’t Be Shy is the first scent I created under Kilian. My goal was to create a gourmand scent unlike any other on the market. This meant staying away from the well-known gourmand accord, Ethyl Maltol in combination with Patchouli. More importantly, I wanted a scent that would be so yummy it would make you almost want to ‘take a bite’ at your partner.

Love, Don’t Be Shy Eau Fraîche is a sweet treat for adults with its base of Marshmallow and Musk, yet it is more candid than the original Love, Don’t Be Shy. Neroli sourced from North Africa and Petitgrain from Paraguay add freshness and delicacy to the core composition. Structured like a delicate veil with its tender heart of florals such as Peony and Freesia, Love, Don’t Be Shy Eau Fraîche expresses the sensuality of the game of love.
Becker says: “Don’t Be Shy takes inspiration from Orientale pastries and Turkish delights with a note of rose petals from Southern Europe. Don’t Be Shy is more intense, while Kilian Love, Don’t Be Shy Eau Fraîche expresses petals more fluidly, enhancing the scent of musk and is slightly less gourmand”.

The flacon has the same rectangular shape as all By Kilian perfume editions, yet this time it comes in a frosted white gold massive crystal bottle inspiring an expensive, luxurious and priceless accessory.
Each Kilian flacon is transformed into a precious object. Served in a flacon of frosted white with gold hardware, its aura is one of luxury and light. The flacon is engraved on its various sides with a ceramic fresco representing the Achille’s shield and decorated with a golden plate where the name of the fragrance has been carved and manually filled with white enamel.
Kilian Love Don’t Be Shy Eau Fraîche is available as 50 and 100ml Eau de Parfum.
Kilian have also relaunched Good Girl Gone Bad Extreme as part of the permanent collection. The scent was originally launched in 2017 as a limited edition and has notes of Indian Jasmine Sambac, Egyptian Jasmine, Turkish Rose, Moroccan Rose, Indian Tuberose, Orange Blossom and Milky Toffee Elixir.
