In 2014 Tom Ford launched a new edition to the Neroli Porofino Collection: Costa Azzurra. The popular fragrance is now included in the Tom Ford Signature Collection, and comes in a new stylish flacon.
If Aristotle Onassis was alive today I’d guarantee Costa Azzurra would be stocked aboard the Christina O.
Costa Azzurra captures the easy sensuality of a purely uninhibited escape. It evokes the spirit of the sun-baked Mediterranean woodlands, where pines and oaks mingle with wild-growing herbs near the sea. It explores the alluring vibe of the region (think crystal clear waters, white-washed villas and sun-kissed skin).

Costa Azzurra boasts a myriad of complex notes, each chosen to complement the next. A hint of fucus, paired with the sandy, salt-baked driftwood and warm agarwood accord make way for glints of freshness, carried by hints of cardamom, celery, and ambrette seed.
Top: driftwood, seaweed, agarwood, celery seed, ambrette, cardamom
Heart: lemon, lavender, juniper, yellow mandarin, artemisia, myrtle
Base: vetiver, oak, olibanum, lentisque, incense, vanilla
A unique blend of juniper berry, myrtle, armoise, basil and French lavender fused with Italian lemon and yellow mandarin pair to create an earthy freshness, which is reiterated by woody notes including cypress, oak and cedar. In-time, base notes including ambery citrus, smoky olibanum, and vetiver oil pair with vanilla to effuse a full-bodied, woody-yet-fresh scent.

Instead of the cleur blue glass flacon, now Costa Azzura comes in the cylindrical glass flacon with its iconic ribbed elegance; a hallmark of the Tom Ford Signature line. The cap and the metallic plate are gold colored while the juice is a warm and sunny yellow.
Costa Azzurra in its new flacon is followed by an attractive advertising campaign shot by Steven Klein and Mario Godlewski featuring Parker van Noord as the advertising face. The Dutch model takes us for a swim in the new campaign for Tom Ford’s Costa Azzurra fragrance.

The top male model is seen diving into a pool at night for this sensual fragrance. Together with renowned photographer Steven Klein, van Noord effortlessly captured the sensual essence of the fragrance, which resulted in a gorgeous campaign with hints of gold and midnight blue.
In charge of styling was Carine Roitfeld, with set design from Andrea Stanley. Beauty is work of hair stylist Thom Priano, makeup artist Mark Carrasquillo, and manicurist Honey.

Tom Ford Costa Azzurra is available as a 50ml and 100ml Eau de Parfum at Tom Ford Boutiques, and at selected stores worldwide.
