Directed by Jean-Baptise Mondino, who has directed films of the J’Adore woman since 1999, the film looks at the luxury of nature, and how water is bliss.
This film follows on from the previous one, which saw her climbing towards a salutary ‘elsewhere’ having eliminated the superfluous. It has a new, radically different beginning. She no longer needs to escape, as she is now totally free, immersed in regal nature, almost naked and rid of all artifice. Her vision of the world is essential, designating what is of primordial importance: protecting our planet and in particular, the water that is our new gold. She tells us that luxury can have meaning.

Charlize Theron is as radiant as she is an embodiment of the new Golden Dior J’Adore fragrance in the new film by the French fashion house, ‘The Absolute Femininity’. In just over 45-seconds the actress saunters over sand, through rain and shine, emerging as a mythical goddess, bathed in a scented aura. That aura is a combination of jasmine sambac, rose damascena and ylang-ylang. According to François Demachy, Dior’s Perfume Creator, the focus of the fragrance is, “entirely on Dior’s great floral femininity. However magical it may be, a perfume is first and foremost an art of the primary material” said Demachy.

The film reflects that the J’Adore woman is totally free. Starting with a desert thunderstorm, the scenery soon becomes a blazing gold landscape, where Theron celebrates her freedom and basks in the water and sunlight.
