Cher, a legendary artist who has excelled in so many sectors in life from music to film to philanthropy. Back in 1987 the American icon launched her first fragrance Uninhibited, perfectly depicting her – timeless – image, in collaboration with Parfums Stern. Now, more than 30 years later, she is back with another perfume venture called Eau de Couture, created in collaboration with Scent Beauty, a recently launched fragrance company from Bernd Beetz and Mormoris. The duo created the celebrity fragrance boom of the early Aughts at Coty.
I have worked on this fragrance for the last four years. This too is a milestone in my career as an artist. It completely expresses who I am, and I wear it every day. I know there are people who don’t want to have anything on them, but I cannot even go to that place.
Cher Eau de Couture, a gender free fragrance, is developed by Firmenich perfumer Clement Gavarry as an oriental perfume based on spices and vanilla. The composition consists of notes of bergamot, orange oil, neroli, jasmine and vetiver.
