Couturier Elie Saab’s signature scent reveals orange-blossom. You’ll also notice sun-drenched notes and waves of jasmine. The woodsy trail features an alliance of patchouli, cedar and ‘rose honey’. In 2012, Elie Saab unveiled the Eau de Toilette version, which includes notes of mandarin blossom, gardenia and vetiver. Both, like other Elie Saab scents ‘signed’ by Francis Kurkdjian.

Top Notes : Orange Blossem

This bouquet of white flowers, christened simply Le Parfum, ‘expresses a radiant femininity,’ the designer explains. ‘It transcribes the duality of my world: Eastern light and Western modernity. ‘Passionate about architecture and design, the couturier wanted a ‘glass bottle with pure lines, multiplying the play of light’. The bottle calls to mind a facetted stone.

I would almost classify this as a ‘woody oriental’. This would make a great scent to wear to work. For me it remembers me of Meditarian holidays, and my visits to Syria, Lebanon and Jordan…  The cedar jasmine duet is gorgeous!
