The new Rouge Eau de Parfum pays homage to one of L’Interdit’s iconic colors, red, which sets the interior of the flacon ablaze. French Maison Givenchy prepared a special edition of the 2018 L’Interdit fragrance that enhances the note of orange blossom in a hypnotic bouquet of white flowers. The new fragrance is called L’Interdit Édition Millésime.

The thrill of an exquisite flower. From a harvest exclusively dedicated to the Maison Givenchy, the most flawless of Egyptian Orange Blossoms makes its own special statement, its petals radiating the myriad facets of our iconic and narcotic Underground Flower, L’Interdit. Every flacon encapsulates no less than the equivalent of one hundred flowers, handpicked with the utmost care in March 2020. A truly intimate, confidential affair, adhering to strict, ancestral artisan traditions.

In the years that I work in the world of cosmetics, I have come across many beautiful and special packaging. In the years I have collected a nice collection of solid perfumes often disguised as a golden pill box. Special trifles to carry with you in your designer handbag, but oten too beautiful to use..

Now French Maison Givenchy’s L’Interdit collection brings forth a new product, a fragrant solid perfume. Not a golden ‘pill box’, but in a very attractive, lipstick-shaped package. The Maison’s creaters thought that a solif perfume in this form would be perfect for applying during the day gently on the neckline and wrists and for carrying in a purse.

The recognizable formula of the perfume was created by perfumers Dominique Ropion, Anne Flipo and Fanny Bal. The fragrance is based on contrasts between white flowery notes (tuberose, jasmine, orange blossom) and a deep and dark base of woodsy notes (patchouli, vetiver.) The composition has nuances of sheer and juicy bergamot and pear aromas.
