Jill Stuart Crystal Bloom Beloved Charm

Born in New York, in 1965, fashion designer Jill Stuart grew up in a ‘fashion’ family, and started at the age of 15. Her parents George and Lynn Stuart worked in Manhattan’s Garment District and created the label Mister Pants, which was an early creator of women’s tailored trousers and trouser suits in men’s fabrics. Lynn Stuart also had her own higher end label, and became known for creating outfits for actresses including Lucille Ball, Natalie Wood and Sheila MacRae.

In 1980, Jill Stuart begins her design career at the age of 15 selling her silver and leather chokers to Bloomingdales. Five years later she opened her first store, an Upper East Side boutique focusing on accessories such as belts and handbags. By 1990, her stoles, bags and fur accessories could be found in stores such as Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman. Her eponymous label was launched in 1993 and included Skinclothes – a range of leather garments, such as slip dresses, kilts, jeans and jackets. Since then, Jill Stuart hasn’t stopped gaining fame all over the world and has even launched two new brands in 2000 : a jeans and a lingerie collection. Madonna, Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie. In 2010 Jill Stuart started her cosmetics and fragrance line.

This year Jill Stuart is celebrating five years of the Crystal Bloom Collection and is launching a new Crystal Bloom Beloved Charm fragrance, as well as a very lovely miniature collection (above). Beloved Charm is a feminine floral composition that reflects the aromas of a blooming garden full of freshness, greenery, and delicate flowers.

Heart: May rose, Lily-of-the-Valley
Base: Osmanthus, Musk, Cedar, Tulle accord

Crystal Bloom Beloved Charm reveals the scents of sweet peas, snowdrop flowers, and geranium in the opening of the composition, leading us to a bouquet of May roses and lemony, fresh and green lily-of-the-valley at the heart. The base intensifies the florals with the apricot-like osmanthus bloom embraced with musk, cedar, and the tulle accord characteristic of all Crystal Bloom editions.

The color of the new bottle glass is a gradient from pink to gold and alludes to the floral nectar of the composition. There is a specially designed pendant, with a little mirror inside, on the neck of the bottle.

In addition to the new release of Crystal Bloom Beloved Charm, Jill Stuart will delight fans of the collection with a set of miniatures that includes five fragrances in 7.5ml bottles. The miniature set includes: Crystal Bloom Eau de Parfum, Crystal Bloom Snow, Crystal Bloom Blissful Breeze, Crystal Bloom Something Pure Blue, and the newest Crystal Bloom Beloved Charm.

Jill Stuart Crystal Bloom Moonlight Magic

Created by Cecile Matton, Jill Stuart Crystal Bloom Moonlight Magic is described as ‘a fantastic fragrance with the both the clarity of a winter night and the gentle warmth of the moon’.

The top notes give an impression of moonlight and fruit, where soft moonlight gently shines in a calm, quiet night. Bergamot, sweet pea and edelweiss express the pureness of a winter night with a sense of clarity.

The floral middle notes evoke crystalline snow reflecting the light of the moon as it falls like petals. The sweetness of rose and heliotrope complement the pretty floral flowers to transport you to a world of fantasy.

The end notes are the musk of the holy night where the world is gently embraced in blankets of snow. Tulle Accord is layered with light-as-snow, high quality fragrances, such as musk and sandalwood, which wrap you in gentle happiness that feels like the company of the one you love.

The cap was created in the image of a gentle, sparkling moon, a bouquet of three clear flowers with five petals engraved with gold pearls. The bottle is crafted to evoke the stamen and pistil and decorated with a flower motif in relief. The blue gradation of the glass bottle expresses a night of fantasy illuminated by moonlight.
The single box is a special design depicting snow scattering within a blue gradation and floral pattern.
