Tiffany & Co. White Edition

American jewelry and silverware company Tiffany & Co was founded in 1837 in New York. The company’s founders are Charles Lewis Tiffany and Teddy Young, who started the company named Tiffany, Young and Ellis selling stationery items. The name was changed into Tiffany & Co in 1953 when Charles Tiffany took control,and  made jewelry the company’s area of expertise. Tiffany published their first catalog, known as the ‘Blue Book’, in 1845 and has continued this practice up till today. Several famous and experienced designed currently create collections for Tiffany: Elsa Peretti, Paloma Picasso, Jean Schlumberger, Frank Gehry, Richard Lambertson and John Truex.

In the late 1980s, Tiffany & Co. entered the fragrance business. The first fragrance was released in 1987 – a floral perfume for women by perfumer Francois Demachy, simply called Tiffany. Two years letter Tiffany for Men was launched in 1989 and created by perfumer Jacques Polge. The flacons were designed by Pierre Dinand. Several other fragrances for men and women followed. In 2017 Tiffany & Co for women was launched. A beautiful fragrance created by Daniela Andrier. Guided by her passion for gemstones and jewelry, perfumer Daniela Andrier created a composition for Tiffany & Co inspired by their jewelry collections.

 

Tiffany & Co White Edition is a limited edition flacon that carries the famous Tiffany & Co Eau de Parfum composition from 2017, in which iris is placed center stage because Daniela considers it to be as precious as a diamond.

Tiffany’s latest leather collection

The Tiffany & Co style is now elegantly expressed in Tiffany leather, a natural evolution from jewelry of legendary design to handbags and accessories of flawless sophistication.

This Fall, American jeweller Tiffany & Co. launched a beautiful leather goods collection featuring bags and accessories that are elegant in design, rich in color and heavenly to the touch. Michael Kowalski, chairman of Tiffany & Co, held a cocktail party last month to celebrate the successful launch.

In attendance were design directors, Richard Lambertson and John Truex, a duo known for their craftsmanship and timeless style – true to the Tiffany’s brand. And if you’re wondering why the names sound so familiar, that’s because they formerly owned leather goods company Lambertson Truex that was bought over by Tiffany & Co. in 2009 after the company went bankrupt.

We might start with a particular color or silhouette and then draw from Tiffany’s world of beauty and sophistication to make a new design. The result is something unique, yet unmistakably Tiffany & Co.

The Manhattan Satchel in glazed crocodile is luxe, classic and generously sized – ideal for the on-the-go New Yorker. There are also pieces inspired by Tiffany jewelry. The Bracelet Bag is a frame satin pouch hanging from a beaded wrist chain that looks very much like, well, a bracelet. The Sofia minaudière has a crystal chain that takes after diamond necklaces in the Tiffany archives.

Last but not least, something for the men as well. The Collection also features highly covet-able wallets, organizers, card cases and Nappa leather gloves. Introducing the Tiffany Blake, a simply styled tote in grain leather that comes in 2 different colours. I do like the Tiffany Blue detail on the shoulder strap but that’s about it.
