Bentley Beyond The Collection

Bentley’s Beyond The Collection presents three new fragrances which follow the previous editions: Majestic Cashmere, Exotic Musk and Wild Vetiver from last year, en Rich Pimento from early this Year. 

Now a new trio of scents marks the first female collection from Bentley Fragrances, inspired by exotic flowers which express different personas in scent, colour and emotion. The new creations are: Mellow Heliotrope, Radiant Osmanthus, and Vibrant Hibiscus. Born in Grasse, the world’s perfume capital, master perfumer Karine Dubreuil Sereni composed this beautiful trio of fragrances. 

Celebrating the proud heritage of the Bentley Girls, these three unique perfumes interpret individual characteristics of unique flowers, expressing the character of the exceptional women who wear them. Satisfying appreciation of high-quality materials, meticulous craftsmanship and originality – the fragrances are a true individual statement of personalities.

Bentley Mellow Heliotrope

I adore heliotrope. To me, it is one of the most feminine notes in the perfumer’s palette. But though it is extremely feminine, it is elegant rather than provocative. When I composed it, I imagined a soft, sensual woman who wants a scent that is delicately enveloping yet very diffusive and unforgettable.

The amazing grace of Mellow Heliotrope: a delicately powdery scent for the sensitive, softly sensual woman who thrives in intimate situations.

Top notes: Italian bergamot, mandarin orange, cassis, gardenia
Middle notes: raspberry, pink pepper, elemi resin
Base notes: heliotrope, violet leaves, ambrette, vanilla, praline

Expressing a sweet and compelling character is Heliotrope, a purple Mediterranean flower with a soft vanilla and anise scent. To complement these softly sensual scents, the perfumer has picked a palette of pink of purple notes – opening with a crisp blackcurrant bud, accented with pink pepper. A hint of strawberry with vanilla and praline enhance Mellow Heliotrope’s subtly romantic blends, leaving an elegant and unforgettable trail.

Bentley Radiant Osmanthus

The woman I envisioned when I composed Radiant Osmanthus is self-confident and joyful, but never ostentatious. She exudes charm naturally. For me, the apricot colour and scent of the Osmanthus flower reflect her sunny character, while its suede facet express her inner depth.

Top notes: neroli, Italian mandarin, lemon
Middle notes: osmanthus, wild jasmine, peach
Base notes: cedarwood, white amber, sandalwood, musk

Radiant Osmanthus opens with radiant notes of neroli and citrus, giving an elegant dose of refreshment to the fruity, apricot aromas of osmanthus, which is additionally sweetened with peach in the heart. The base combines creamy woody notes and subtle musk.

Bentley Vibrant Hibiscus

I had to invent the scent of hibiscus, since there is no extract, so I drew my inspiration from the intensity of its colour and the fragility of its corolla. Between the lushness of a Turkish rose and the freshness of peony, my hibiscus accord expresses the contrasts of a passionate woman’s personality.

Top notes: cassis, Italian bergamot, mandarin orange, violet leaves

Base notes: sandalwood, Indonesian patchouli, musk, moss

A tropical beauty that thrives in the sun, the flamboyant hibiscus reflects her vibrant character. The scent opens with a dab of cassis and Italian mandarin, trickling into a lush floral heart of scarlet peony, crimson Turkish rose and a pink hibiscus accord, with the heady sensuousness of jasmine as a contrast to the fiery palette. Exotic sandalwood and Indonesian patchouli underline the assertive yet elegant character of Vibrant Hibiscus in the warm, sensual drydown.

The faceted flacons are inspired by the signature cut-crystal glass headlights of the Continental GT and subtly tinted in a soft mauve hue to mirror the character of the fragrance. The Bentley emblem is engraved on the silver metal, with soft-touch suede in the same colour of each fragrance as the finishing touch on the lid.

After three earlier editions, fashion house Azzaro continues its now iconic Mademoiselle line inspired by the image of a young Parisian woman – Mademoiselle Azzaro. Azzaro delights its female fans with a new breath-taking and gorgeous perfume Mademoiselle Azzaro L’Eau Tres Charmante. Created by Karine Dubreuil, this perfume is described as a pleasant burst of delicate flowers nicely mixed with fruits to create a long-lasting sensual and feminine aroma.

Quince. Native to Asia and more specifically Armenia, Iran and Turkey, the fully ripe fruit is harvested from September to November and then it goes through a distillation process. The fragrance’s forward vivacious scent comes from its compelling, citrusy and slightly botanical notes.

Hazel Leaves. The grassy accord with elements of hazelnut is reminiscent of a peaceful garden setting with the fresh smell of greenery and distant woody scents.

Lily of the Valley. A sign of spring, the first warm days brighten up with this bell-shaped flower’s penetrating scent, very gentleand delicate aromas of plants that make the fragrance so elegant soft and joyful.

For this latest creation, the Eau Très Florale comes in a beautifully feminine designed multifaceted flacon of the line with a light green liquid as a hint  that outwardly reflects the fragrance’s springtime notes. L’Occitane Néroli and Orchidée Collection has some lovely new additions just in time for Spring!

One of my favourite L’Occitane line the ‘Collection de Grasse’ Néroli and Orchidée expands its range just in time for Spring with three new products: a Bath Milk, a Body Oil, and a Lip Gloss.

Eclat d’Arpège Eyes on You by Lanvin launching in limited edition

After ‘Eclat d’Arpège’, ‘Eclat d’Arpège Summer’ and ‘Eclat d’Arpège Arty’, Lanvin has unveiled ‘Eclat d’Arpège Eyes on you’, a symbol of joy and femininity. These two characteristics also come out in the design of the bottle, which is decorated with a cute illustration portraying two long-lashed eyes with electric blue makeup and wine-red lips. The design reflects the unique style of Alber Elbaz.

The iconic round bottle of the ‘Eclat d’Arpège’ perfume, in a very feminine and subtle rose color, is topped with a fuchsia diamond. Two silver rings, symbolizing the bond between Jeanne Lanvin and her daughter, complete the design.

Lanvin is set to release the newest version of its Eclat d’Arpège collection, ‘Eyes on You’, whose bottle was designed by Alber Elbaz, the luxury brand’s own artistic director. This new olfactory chapter will be sold as a limited edition starting later this summer.

Created by Karine Dubreuil, this fresh, floral and fruity composition opens with Sicilian lemon and lilac. The heart includes green tea leaves and peach blossom, on a base of Lebanese cedar and white musk.

The ‘Collection de Grasse’ combines the most exquisite ingredients and L’Occitane follows in the tradition of the skilled perfumers who build up the international reputation of Grasse, in Provence the town famous for precious scents and rare extracts.

Karine Dubreuil perfume creator for L’Occitane knows the place well as she grew up in Provence drew on her fragrant matchmaking skills and introduced neroli , the essence of orange blossom and white orchid.

The fragrace is evocative of a pearly white flowerly lying on a piece of silk with zesty notes of orange ad mandarin and it reveals another facet of Neroli (orange blossom essential oil) through resolutely floral notes, heightened by the elegant presence of white of orchid with a base of musk and precious iris. In the language of flowers, orange blossom and white orchid are symbols of affection.

A golden thread is tied around the neck of the flacon, as if to bind them together.
I absolutely love this fragrance, makes a perfect scent for Spring and would make a perfect gift come Mother’s day.

Lanvin Eclat d’Arpege Gourmandise

French Maison Lanvin presents a new delicious and mysterious perfume for women, Eclat d’Arpege Gourmandise – the new flanker to the original Eclat d’Arpege launched in 2002. The original scent was a successful one for most women with a fresh, calm aroma that delighted most men.

This year, Lanvin Eclat d’Arpege Gourmandise gets a new decoration. The new edition celebrates the French ‘Candy Spirit’ and famous (Ladurée?) macaroon cookies the motifs that adorn the new bottle.

 

Created by Karine Dubreuil, Lanvin Eclat d’Arpege Gourmandise has a pleasant, funny and modern design composed of top notes of Sicilian lemon and lavender along with middle notes of fresh green tea and sweet peach blossom. The base is made of Lebanese cedar and white musk.
