Gorgeous singer Beyoncé Knowles is photographed by Mario Testino for the September issue of American Vogue. Dressed in Marc Jacobs, Queen Bey rules the fashion world.
It’s the third time the 33-year-old has been a US Vogue cover star, after her debut in 2009. Now Beyoncé is the cover star for American Vogue’s September issue, the year’s biggest and most prestigious edition of the fashion tome.

There are many reasons we have mad respect for Beyoncé. Vogue clearly feels the same way: In honor of the megastar gracing the cover of their September issue, the magazine is experiencing a full-on Beyoncé takeover, debuting the just-released images from the magazine shot by Mario Testino. The pop superstar is gracing the cover in a sheer pink gown with flower embellishments. The coverline reads:
Just B – Beyoncé and the art of global domination.
Here is a peek of our favorite photos from the shoot, which lend further proof as to why Queen Bey is the ultimate cover girl.
The word diva is used for so many female performers, and it often means they have reputations for being difficult, but she exudes charm and a loveable quality.
She’s the whole package: primal, rare, delicate, beautiful, and powerful… her appeal crosses art forms, genders, and generations.
The September issue is the thickest of the year, with the spot on the cover highly coveted. Previous September cover stars have included Naomi Campbell, Jennifer Lawrence and Cara Delevingne.
The American Vogue September issue will hit your nearby newsstands on August 25th. !!
