Lancôme La Nuit Tresor Diamant Blanc is created around the main ingredient white musk that adds the irresistible sensuality. It also blends floral accords of violet leaf, Damask rose, freesia, jasmine petals seasoned with woody notes of sandalwood, patchouli, almond, and sweet vanilla.

I have the original perfume and have to admit that I use it only on occasions as it lasts long on my skin, truly provocative, yet too pungent. This year, the French Maison indulges its devotees with an elixir of love, La Nuit Trésor A La Folie. The new edition follows the previous editions as Trésor, Trésor Eau de Toilette, and La Nuit Trésor.

It opens with fresh bergamot and pear notes nicely mixed with spices of red currant, pink pepper. Overwhelming and extremely sensual, the great thrill of love is perfectly embodied by the fiery rose. This rose joins the Trésor roseraie, very sensual and addictive. The perfume opens on an opulent Vanilla elixir and a woody patchouli drydown.

 

 

The bottle of La Nuit Trésor à la Folie looks like it is mistaken for that of his predecessor. Only its color has changed slightly. She becomes more feminine and glamorous than before, enriched with fuchsia reflections. La Nuit Trésor à La Folie is like an exceptional jewel from contemporary fine jewelery. Cut to a point, it displays an admirable symmetry, and is similar to a rough cut diamond of 75 facets. This ornamental jewel is also decorated with a black satin bow at the collar. Inspired by the original Trésor bottle from 1952, it has a remarkable French elegance with an incredible sense of detail.

Not Only In The Dark, Lancôme La Nuit Trèsor L’Eau de Parfum

Earlier this year, Lancôme added a new scent to the Trèsor family, called ‘La Nuit Trèsor’. A seductive and bewitching fragrance housed in a multi-faceted diamond rose bottle, this fragrance boasts notes of black rose, vanilla orchid, incense, patchouli, and lychee praline.

Lancômes La Nuit Tresor comes in a gorgeous multi-faceted diamond-shaped bottle, so it needs to be rested on its side. The rim of the glass is tinted black to represent the black rose element of the scent. The perfume itself is tinted a warm shade of pink abricot, which contrasts nicely with the black. Tied around the neck of the bottle is a ribbon made into a rose bearing the La Nuit Trèsor logo…

Upon first whiff, La Nuit Trèsor smelled very familiar and after another long, deep whiff, I realized that this fragrance smells like Thierry Mugler’s Angel and Chopard’s Wish (that ‘diamond’)!  La Nuit Trèsor bears very similar notes as Angel, like: patchouli, praline, candy notes, vanilla ao.. And as Chopard’s Wish like: patchouli, vanille, orchid ao.

Base: Patchouli, Incense, Vanilla, Praline, Papyrus

For those people who like these two scents, they have a new one to love! I also think that a lot of people will call it a much more demure, or lighter version of Angel, thus making it a lot more pleasant… For sure yoy don’t have to wait ’till dark. You can use it all day long. A true new Lancôme classic!

Important tip: Like Thierry Mugler’s Angel and many others, I can’t say it enough times (and I will repeat it here over and over again!), when you use this fragrances: don’t spray it for to close! Keep a distance from around 30cm…. at least! Walk through it… Give it some air! And notice the difference!!!
