This season, Tom Ford returns with an exciting addition to its hit lipstick collection,’Lips & Boys’. The only lipstick you need in your purse this season.
Launched in December last year in sleek ‘clutch-sizes’ (miniature versions of 0.07 oz. vs. 0.10 oz.), these lipsticks have quickly established themselves as beauty essentials for the modern woman, someone seeking variety, oozing sensuality, exuding confidence… The Tom Ford Woman.
The inspiration for the collection comes from each colour named for a man past or present in Ford’s life.
I Love seeing a woman in a man’s suit. Why not have a lipstick named after a man?
Here’s the dilemma: you grab your clutch before heading out to a party and after stuffing your ID, credit card, keys, cellphone and a few sticks of gum inside, you barely have enough room to fit any makeup.
What do you do? Well, we suggest getting Tom Ford’s new lipstick.
The fashion designer has solved one of the biggest fashion girl problems this holiday season with his collection of miniature lipsticks. Lips & Boys features 50 purse-friendly lip colors named after men who have inspired him, as well as those he admires.
25 of the bestselling favourites in classic cream texture make a highly, anticipated return, and these include Collin, Holdon and Giacomo. They are joined by 25 new boys in pearlescent, metallized finish and these include Ansel and Joaquin. In total, 50 luxurious shades, in 10 color families, round out the offering for the return of Lips & Boys. The array of shades are pretty impressive, ranging from decadent nudes like Henry, Orlando and Blake to the rich reds in Adriano, Rafael and Diego, smoothly glide onto lips for a luminous finish.

Each tiny tube of lipstick is housed in Ford’s signature burgundy and gold lacquered packaging and blended with ultra-hydrating ingredients like soja seed extract, Brazilian murumuru butter and chamomilla flower oil.
Intended for use on its own, or layered with one another, these Tom Ford lipsticks are a blend of specially treated pigments to achieve pure colors with the richt balance of luminosity.

“I like the idea of lipsticks named after boys. Why commit to one when you can have several?” he explained in a press release. Now, that’s one way to kiss and tell!
