Every year, French Maison L’Occitane tribute to the women of Burkina Faso on 8 March, International Women’s Day. It was in Burkina Faso Olivier Baussan in the early 1980s discovered the special ingredient shea butter, which nourishes and protects the skin. On the occasion of International Women’s Day on March 8th French Maison L’Occitane is launching the Ultra Soft Balm, cointaining 96% of Shea Butter sourced in Burkina Faso. With the support of the L’Occine Foundation 100% of the profits from the sale of this balm goes to organizations that promote women’s entrepreneurship.
