The comprehensive scientific research on skin’s radiance

After analysing the outcome of the skin’s visible light, Lancôme found that the skin’s radiance and visible luminosity is a result of a complex relationship between light and the different skin tissue structures. Research has found that the backscattering of inner light decreases with age, playing a key role in the skin’s radiance.

 

What’s it’s secret?

The serum’s active ingredients include antioxidant vitamin C which is known to help improve your skin’s collagen production while minimising the look of pigmentation. It also contains bifida ferment lysate, a type of yeast, that also has antioxidant benefits; hydrating glycerin; skin-plumping hyaluronic acid and adenosine, a good anti-inflammatory.

Lancôme releases its behind-the-scenes film featuring new ambassador Lupita Nyong’o on set of her ‘joyful’ new campaigns…

As previously mentined, Hollywood darling Lupita Nyong’o is the latest beautiful face to front French beauty authority in the field, Lancôme. The Oscar-winning actress has brought a certain ‘joie de vivre’ to the project, made clear by the release of a behind-the-scenes film – shot on the sets of Nyong’o’s two new advertising campaigns.

Working with photographers Mert and Marcus was a lot of fun. They did it with such a joy and you want nothing but to help them accomplish what they’re doing, and it’s so easy to trust them.

A girl after my own beauty heart, it’s the subject matter that Nyong’o seems pretty thrilled by too: “make-up for me is like a frame of an art piece”, she says.

It concerns two campaigns; L’Absolue Rouge lipsticks (the campaign which she shares with fellow actress Penelope Cruz) and Teint Idole Foundation (the campaign which she shares with Daria Werbowy, and currently displayed in the US only but soon to be revealed worldwide), and the actress was keen to share her personal beauty tips for both.
