Fashion designer Marc Jacobs is launching the Daisy Petals collection that brings the popular Daisy editions in smaller format (To-Go sizes). The Daisy Petals Collection includes five Daisy fragrances: Daisy, Daisy Love, Daisy Eau So Fresh, Daisy Love Eau So Sweet, and Daisy Dream.

The new flacons are sleek and slimmer, created in a petal shape; ideal for carrying in your purse and traveling, and designed for anyone who wants to carry their favorite scent everywhere, every day. The body of the flacons is made of transparent glass, while the caps are white with a gold-colored rim decorated with romantic daisy flowers. LVMH Group Supports LGBTQ Rights With UN Standards of Conduct for Business Signing

LVMH Moët Hennessy – Louis Vuitton SE also known as LVMH, is a French Multinational corporation and coglomerate specializing in luxury goods, headquartered headquartered in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, France. The company was formed in 1987 under the merger of iconic fashion house Louis Vuitton (founded in 1854) with Moët Hennessy, a company formed after the 1971 merger between the champagne producer Moët & Chandon and cognac producer Hennessy.

The Group controls around 60 subsidiaries that each manage a small number of prestigious brands, 75 in total (like Bvlgari, Céline, Chaumet, Christian Dior, Givenchy, Loewe, Moynat, Jean Patou, to name just a few). The group currently employs more than 83,000 people. Thirty percent of LVMH’s staff work in France. LVMH operates over 2,400 stores worldwide.

Today the LVMH Group’s U.S. Maisons are joining its European members with the signing of the UN Standards of Conduct for Business today. The move will guarantee the human rights of LGBTQ people in all its subsidiaries. Another step towards incluivity.

 All of our employees should be able to be themselves and be considered for their contribution, irrespective of other considerations such as their race, gender or sexual orientation.

LVMH – which prefers the LGBTI acronym – has already put conducts into effects in companies such as Marc Jacobs, Sephora, Belvedere, Benefit, Fresh, Kendo and Starboard. Chantal Gaemperle, group executive vice president human resources and synergies for the group told WWD, “All of our employees should be able to be themselves and be considered for their contribution, irrespective of other considerations such as their race, gender or sexual orientation”.

By the end of 2019, the conglomerate will roll out its own initiative and worldwide training program discussing both unconscious bias and inclusive leadership. This move joins LVMH’s commitment to LGBTQ-community inclusion which has seen the company use the transgender model Krow Kian in Louis Vuitton womenswear shows and the transgender actor Indya Moore in the B-Blossom jewelry campaign.

The signing of the UN Standards of Conduct for Business will see the following actions be put into place:

Respect the human rights of LGBTQ workers, customers and community members.

Eliminate discrimination against LGBTQ employees.

Support LGBTQ staff at work.

Not discriminate against LGBTQ customers, suppliers and distributors while insisting business partners hold the same standard.

Stand up for human rights of LGBTQ people in the communities where they do business.

Kate Moss’ daughter Lila is the new face of Marc Jacobs Beauty

Lila Moss-Hack just landed a major beauty contract and we suspect it won’t be her last… The 16-year-old daughter of Kate Moss is following in her mom’s footsteps.

Most people celebrate their 16th birthday with a massive cake, maybe a party, and most likely getting tipsy. If, though, you’re Kate Moss’ daughter, the occasion is marked by not only landing your first modelling gig, but that gig is to be cast as the new face of Marc Jacobs beauty.

We’ve all seen the stratospheric rise of Cindy Crawford’s daughter Kaia Gerber in recent seasons and now another supermodels’ offspring is making her mark in the industry. It was revealed overnight that Lila Moss-Hack, the 16-year old daughter of supermodel Kate Moss, 44, and magazine editor Jefferson Hack, has just landed her very first beauty campaign with none other than Marc Jacobs Beauty (coincidentally, Kaia has also been a face of the brand in the past but recently moved across to YSL Beauty).

Lila, whose mother Kate has been close friends with the designer since they both started out in the industry, follows in the footsteps of previous brand faces including Kaia Gerber, Winona Ryder, Adwoa Aboah and Jessica Lange. Bearing more than a passing resemblance to her famous mother, Lila is pictured in her first campaign image sporting a lilac cat eye and seriously perfect skin.

When I met Lila Moss for the first time in 2008, I was on a holiday in Ibiza and went to Formentera for the day to visit with her mum, Kate Moss, and other friends and family. At just 6 years old, Lila’s strong character, demeanour and great beauty was already very apparent. The next time I saw Lila was in August of 2011 at Kate’s wedding, her character was even more dynamic and her beauty even greater. This past July is that last time I saw Lila when Kate brought her to the set of our Marc Beauty campaign shoot with David Sims. It was a bit surreal to have Kate in the studio with Lila as it brought back memories of the first time I met Kate when she was 18 years old and cast to walk for the Perry Ellis Spring/Summer 1993 Grunge Collection… Lila’s beauty, composure, patience and kindness made this project even more special than I could have imagined. With each look we photographed, she got into each character effortlessly and gracefully. Thank you, Lila, for being a part of this extremely special project and thank you Kate Moss and Jefferson Hack.

Marc Jacobs See-quins Glam Glitter Eyeshadow Runway Edition is a limited edition glitter eyeshadow packed with bold pigment to deliver maximum sparkle. The formula is created using an innovative demi-pressed process, which allows the pigments to apply more vividly.

Marc Jacobs actually launched two shades of these earlier in the Fall but the limited edition shade range for the Holidays is up to six! The range, which is part of the larger Marc Jacobs Beauty holiday collection, was inspired by the ‘anything-goes esthetic from the Mod Era’, according to the brand materials.

Marc Jacobs welcomes new designer for its contemporary offering

It has long been rumoured that Marc Jacobs is leaving his post at his eponymous label in the near future. Having come on board in a full-time capacity once again in 2013 following his exit from Louis Vuitton, the designer has fought to keep the brand front of mind for consumers.

The house dropped its diffusion line, Marc by Marc Jacobs, in 2015, merging all brands into one at the house. The Business of Fashion reports that the brand has struggled in the years since, and the latest news out of the house today suggests it is reevaluating its position.

John Targon, with Scott Studenberg Baja East Co-Founder and Creative Director, is joining the house to work on its lower price point offerings, with his position official from February 2. It is unknown how Targon and Jacobs will work together on design at the house moving forward, leading to further speculation that Jacobs’ exit may be soon.
