Maserati comes with Special Edition of GranTurismo and GranCabrio

Maserati celebrates 60 years since the 3500 GT was unveiled. The party comes in the form of the GranTurismo and GranCabrio Special Edition, the production run is limited to 400 units.

60 years ago, Maserati presented the 3500 GT, the car of which the GranTurismo is a distant descendant. Maserati is celebrating the GT’s anniversary with the GranTurismo and GranCabrio Special Edition.

The Special Edition is available in a special color, the three-layer paint New Rosso Italiano. The 20-inch wheels are finished in high-gloss black and fitted with special hub caps. Carbon fiber accents, including in the bumpers, are also part of the Special Edition.

The interior is decorated with a choice of leather upholstery from Poltrona Frau or a combination of leather and Alcantara. The stitching is available in different contrasting colours. Special Edition lettering, a plaque on the center tunnel and carbon fiber elements complete the decoration.

When the hood is opened, we see a 460 hp 4.7 liter V8 engine, coming from the Ferrari warehouse. Depending on the transmission selected, the top speed is 298 km/h (MC Auto Shift) or exactly 300 km/h (MC Shift). This also applies to the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h: 4.7 sec. (manual) and 4.8 sec. (vending machine).

The 87th Geneva Motor Show is the unveiling location for this special edition. In total, Maserati will produce 400 copies, so the Special Edition can safely be called exclusive. The price of the Special Edition has not yet been announced, but you can already reserve it.

Come in the beautiful world of Maserati.
