Extending their beauty portfolio, Italian fashion house Prada brings us the Olfactories collection, a collective range of oriental fragrances for women and men…

After launching a collection of 10 coveted fragrances for its iconic olfactories range in November, Prada is now extending its beauty offerings with a new line of scents, available for any woman or man. The extension to the Olfactories line, aptly titled Les Mirages, will include four new names – Miracle of the Rose, Soleil Au Zenith, Dark Light and Midnight Rain – that include oriental notes created by the brand’s Creative Director, Miuccia Prada, and renowned perfumer, Daniela Andrier.

Les Mirages’ new fragrances will be available from June at Prada Boutiques and selected department stores worldwide.

More about Prada’s Les Mirage fragrances soon here on Yakymour…..

Les Infusions de Prada Rose

Perfumer Daniela Andrier collaborated with Miuccia Prada to create a collection of  elegant and sophisticated unisex fragrances. Each fragrance is an interpretation of natural ingredients and the contrast between traditionalism and modernity. The fragrances of this collection were launched as limited editions. The Infusion collection from Italian fashion house Prada began in 2007 with Infusion d’Iris.

In 2015, Prada returns this collection as permanent. It presents six fragrances: the re-launched Les Infusions de Prada d’Iris, Les Infusions de Prada de Fleur d’Oranger from 2009 and Les Infusions de Prada de Vertiver from 2010, and three editions Les Infusions de Prada d’Iris Cèdre Prada, Les Infusions de Prada d’Amande and Les Infusions de Prada d’Oeillet from 2015.

Prada Infusion de Rose

Now Prada presents its new version of their popular perfume Les Infusions de Prada Rose (2011). The new edition resembles much the original perfume launched in 2011 – an infusion of a delicate and adorable bouquet of flowers.

However, the new Les Infusions de Prada Rose perfume still has its new point of view and a more updated composition. This perfume blends one of the finest and aromatic roses in the world: Turkish and Bulgarian roses along with neroli, galbanum and a fresh mandarin notes.

Limited edition: Prada Candy Cosmos Pocket Size

Italian fashion house Prada is blasting into the cosmos to explore a constellation of sophisticated fragrances. The Italian coveted brand has turned one of its signature collections into an adorable collector’s edition…..

Prada, has just extended their olfactory offerings by introducing a mini edition of their iconic Prada Candy fragrance collection. Candylicious and sweet, the mini collection, aptly titled Prada Candy Cosmos, consists of Prada Candy Eau de Parfum, Prada Candy Florale, Prada Candy L’Eau and Prada Candy Kiss – which was originally fronted by American muse Lexi Boling in the April ad campain.

For its ‘visual journey’ into the Candy universe, Prada worked with illustrator Vahram Muratyan on campaign stills and an animated short. In the short film a Prada Candy-shaped spaceship, with a female passenger inside, Candy, travels through hot pink space. Stars in this version of space are replaced with flower petals, with the spaceship bouncing off each to create a Prada Candy-shaped constellation. The animation continues with a space walk among the floral stars and a psychedelic trail left behind by the spaceship that soon circumnavigates larger Prada Candy bottles leaving blossoms in its wake. Prada’s minute-long video ends with the Candy character sitting on the rings of a nearby planet. She uncaps a bottle of Prada Candy and flowers migrate toward the neck’s opening to create the scent.

The limited-edition Prada Candy Cosmos range of pocket-size bottles are intended as travel companions. Each bottle holds less than an ounce of fragrance juice, ideal for on-the-go use.

The video, which was shot by Steven Meisel and set to the sound of Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Seattle-based singer-songwriter Perfume Genius’, sees four faces filmed including Mia Wasikowska, along with Mia Goth, Dane DeHaan and Ansel Elgort.

Soon, here on Yakymour, more about these fragrances…

Prada launch unisex perfume inspired by dreams

prada launch unisex perfume inspired by dreams

Inspired by the uncanny juxtaposition of the real and the imaginary, the feminine and the masculine, the precious and the mundane, Prada Olfactories is the latest 10-piece collection of unisex fragrances from Miuccia Prada’s iconic design house. Created by expert perfumer Daniela Andrier, each concoction awakens the senses with their contradictory elements.

Bottled in clear glass flacons, with sky-blue plaques, and midnight-blue caps, representing night and day, and with names like Purple Rain (representing a link between land and sky, heaven and humanity), Tainted Love (a playful and charming celebration of synthetic allure), and Pink Flamingos (the scent of fluorescent pink blossoms) they’re as imaginative as they are beautiful. Each fragrance comes with its own Prada-stamped silk pouch and surreal collage, which Daniela has described as representing a dream.

“The accompanying visual collages on each of the fragrances represent a dream”, she told Vanity Fair, “dreams are really impressions when you awake. The colours and feeling are all broken up in one’s mind, and that’s how these fragrances were constructed, that these are possibly memories that belong to them, the consumers”. Distributed exclusively, Prada Olfactories are available in some Prada Boutiques and through select high-end retailers. It’s what dreams are made of.

Welcome into the wold of Prada.

Precious, Prada Infusion d’Iris Eau de Parfum Absolue

Prada Infusion d_Iris Eau de Parfum Absolue ad1

In 2007, Prada launched Infusion d’Iris Eau de Parfum followed by Prada Infusion d’Iris Eau de Toilette in 2010. Both of them represented a mild and fresh form of fragrances, however in 2012 the Italian fashion house launched the intense and long-lasting new feminine perfume Infusion d’Iris Eau de Parfum Absolue.

Created by perfumer Daniela Andrier, Infusion d’Iris Eau de Parfum Absolue is richer, lightly sweeter and more orientalized take on the original eau de parfum edition, although not a more concentrated one as the name would imply. Infusion d’Iris Eau de Parfum Absolue is less powdery than the original with a more lady-like character and a hint of leather and baby oil rather than the incense trail of the original.

Top notes: Orange blossom, Tunisian neroli
Heart: Italian iris, Benzoin, Mastic
Base: Madagascan vanilla, Tonka bean, White musk

Infusion d’Iris Eau de Parfum Absolue expresses preciousness thanks to its rare and natural ingredients. It is soaked with exotic notes of Tunisian neroli, orange blossom, precious iris from Florence, mastic, benzoin from Laos, Tonka bean from Venezuela, Madagascar vanilla and white musk.
