Offering naturalness without compromising on performance, French Maison Guerlain’s L’Essentiel High Perfection Foundation perfects skin while preserving its true beauty as a result of its unique formula, featuring 96% naturally-derived ingredients. Day after day, bare skin is more beautiful, the complexion appears smoother.
Since it was founded in Paris in 1828 by the perfumer Pierre-François Pascal Guerlain, the French Maison loves nature, in all its aspects.
With this new launch, Guerlain highlights its commitment to sustainability with an innovative new formula featuring high levels of naturally derived ingredients. From now on, they set themselves the objective of a minimum of 90% of ingredients of natural origin – according to ISO standard 16128 – in each new make-up formula, whenever its possible. All without compromising on quality, security, effectiveness and the sensorial appeal that has made Guerlain unique.
With every launch Guerlain is striving to create a more sustainable and transparent beauty experience for their customers.
This mission has been written into the Maison’s global sustainability pledge, a commitment which inspires their vision of Beauty as well as their innovations and their Bee Respect initiative. A public platform and a pioneering initiative from a luxury perfume and cosmetics House who itself has opted to share a closer look at its major achievements and main eco-objectives, Bee Respect is designed to shed light on Guerlain’s use of ingredients and principal suppliers.
Discover more about their creations via Guerlain’s Bee Respect platform, a traceability and transparency platform designed in partnership with Product DNA that’s home to information about ingredients, packaging elements, suppliers, production sites and carbon footprints.
