Heart: cypress oil, geranium absolute, clary sage oil
Base: deep ocean accord, musk accord, patchouli oil, fir balsam resinoid, ambroxan

Created by perfumer Carlos Benaim, the chosen notes of the composition give the impression of deep ocean, reflected in the union of Crystalfizz aldehyde, which boosts the freshness of the fragrance, combined with Hawaiian green mango, cypress oil, clary sage and a deep ocean accord, which leaves an impression of blue shades and delicate saltiness. Fresh aldehydic, solar, citrusy and fruity opening notes leads us to the aromatic core. Cypress in the heart of the composition together with aromatic clary sage and geranium add another level of sophistication, freshness, and sensuality. The scent peaks with the salty mineral Deep Ocean Accord that energizes and activates an even deeper level of freshness, seductively warmed with ambroxan, patchouli and fir resin.

The flacon was inspired by the swell of an epic wave, the Deep Blue bottle, with its gradated blue glass and silver accents, echoes the energy and intensity of the deep blue sea and the glint of sun on the water.

Athletic model Simon Nessman rises from the wild surf in Bruce Weber’s short for Giorgio Armani’s Acqua di Giò Essenza. Revisiting his classic Acqua di Giò fragrance from 1996, Armani sought to produce a new, more intense remix of the original scent inspired by the Mediterranean island that has since become his home, Pantelleria. The largest of Sicily’s satellites, the ‘Black Pearl of the Mediterranean’ bathes in the scorching heat of nearby Africa carried by the sirocco winds across its plains of dark basalt rock and simple white-domed dwellings, or ‘dammusi.

The idea was to capture, in my own way, that Mediterranean feel’. The connection to water, the sea, and bodily freedom on a beach.

Over the years, writers such as Gabriel García Márquez, Truman Capote and Aldous Huxley have been lured by the island’s rare sense of solitude and its untrammeled landscape. Synonymous with the chiseled male beauties in his iconic images for the likes of Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren and Pirelli, Weber drew inspiration from the island’s serenity for his black and white film.

Italian fashion house Giorgia Armani is launching a new version fragrance for men with a more intense and long-lasting aroma than the original fragrance, Acqua di Gio Essenza. This fragrance is a flanker to 1996’s Acqua di Gio by Giorgio Armani. Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gio Essenza has the same bottle shape as the original colored with a pale yellow color. This Eau de Parfum will also become men’s favorite scent thanks to its fresh, modern, lively and flirty notes.

Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gio Essenza is more about woody notes rather than aquatic and has a pleasant intense aroma. The nose behind it is again perfumer Alberto Morillas – the designer and perfumer created also the original fragrance. Acqua di Gio Essenza Fragrance opens to delight with tones of cascalone molecule, bergamot and grapefruit notes. The floral heart is composed of accords of jasmine, basil, floral paradisone molecule and sage. The drydown of patchouli, cedar, vetiver, ambrox, ambergris, pepper and clary sage won’t leave a man unnoticed. Even though it is less freshly, still it has the point to charm and delight.
