The mother-daughter duo come together to create an ‘essential’ limited edition collection for MAC Cosmetics that will be available worldwide.

When news broke that Sharon and Kelly Osbourne were collaborating with MAC Cosmetics, we thought: purple (because of Kelly’s lavender locks of course)! While there is some of the hue involved in the collaboration, it’s much more than pastels. Kelly has curated a group of youthful and fun shades, while her mother Sharon stuck to the colour classics.

From an early age, Kelly Osbourne had an appreciation for make-up, “The first thing Kelly stole from me was a lipstick,” says Sharon. Today, they have turned their mutual love into a profession, combining forces to develop products for the make-up industry’s most sought after brand.

With those thoughts in mind, they do have an understanding that physical enhancements won’t do any harm. Therefore, their collection consists of components that cater to enhancing facial features with a focus on contouring products created by Sharon, and a little more playful from Kelly’s side, with a ‘Spoonful of Sugar’ eye shadow quad, and ‘Kelly Yum-Yum’ lipstick; a product inspired by Kelly’s favoured MAC product. The collection will also include lip pencils and a flat buffer brush, and will be available across all MAC locations and online.

Dior releases Renovation Vernis colour palette

 

 

Christian Dior release its latest selection of nail colours under the Renovation Vernis umbrella, in keeping with its Autumn/Winter collection.

 

Following on from a stellar Autumn/Winter collection showing in Paris last month, Raf Simons’ all-new Dior radiates a tailored, masculine flair with slices of refreshing feminine colour shades. And with a new beauty creative director on board in the shape of ex-Chanel guru Peter Philips – its future looks only set to get brighter and brighter, as proven by the recent launch of Restoration Vernis – a selection of new colours and vibrant shades like those spotted on the Dior runways, with impeccable hold and a high-tech brush for easy application in a single stroke…

The colours are reminiscent – almost identically so – of the series of looks on the label’s AW14 runway, with one rich slate shade even referenced as ‘Palais Royal 403’:

French Maison Givenchy has created its new cosmetics line for this summer. Same as last year, the Croisiére Collection for 2014 is inspired by the afterglow of a sunny getaway, putting the emphasis on the caramelized tan and sun kissed look.

This year’s Croisiére Collection by Givenchy is focused on an exciting blend of exoticism and elegance. It pays with warm, golden shades, recreating the sunshiny amber look and a sensation of sun-kissed skin. The collection, designed by Givenchy’s Makeup and Color Artistic Director Nicolas Degennes, will be available starting from April 21st, 2014.

Bobbi Brown and L’Wren Scott’s limited-edition make-up collection

This spring, make-up maven Bobbi Brown and fashion icon L’Wren Scott join forces to create the new ‘Amnesia Rose Collection’

Following Bobbi Brown’s successful London Fashion Week debut at L’Wren Scott’s Autumn/Winter 14 runway show, the make-up guru and fashion designer have teamed up again presenting their first off-the-runway beauty partnership.

L’Wren has such amazing style and taste — this collection captures it.

The pairing follows the cosmetics company’s past affiliation with Katie Holmes, and the products that form the collection will include the Amnesia Rose PaletteLip Colour, Long-Wear Eye Pencil and Smokey Eye Mascara – each inspired by the amnesia roses grown by L’Wren at her Loire Valley  Château, and of course her SS14 collection.

The spring makeup collection from Givenchy entitled ‘Over Rose’ features model Ava Smith to enchant us with the French fashion house’s new ad. Hair by Laurent Philippon was even dyed pink, transforming Ava into a beautiful blossom. The collection will have multiple shades of pink to choose from with the Prismissime Lip & Cheek Palette and Prisme Yeux Quatuor Eyeshadow.
