Tom Ford, sooo Fucking Fabulous

Tom-Ford-Fucking-Fabulous-Collection.jpg

World-renowned designer Tom Ford has created a true luxury brand for the 21st century. His collections cater to women and men who seek the ultimate in style, sophistication and exclusiveity. The Tom Ford beauty collection offers sumptuous cosmetics and extraordinary fragrances, achieving ravishing feminine glamour and impeccable masculine style while still amplifying individuality.

Last year, the American designer sent out his new fragrance Fucking Fabulous, from his Private Blend perfume line, along  with the invitations to his Spring 2018 fashion show. It launched with a bang and immediately went viral but retailers grappled with its potty-mouthed moniker.  A U.K. airport had the word ‘Fucking’ crossed out on the bottle. A Saks Fifth Avenue in Houston, Texas, was said to have it on full display but a Neiman Marcus in the same city had a bottle hidden behind the counter with a sticker over the expletive. But how did the name even come to be?

The word ‘fucking’ helped describe the scent of my new fragrance.

Tom Ford

You might be wondering: was there ever any push back about the name of the Fucking Fabulous scent? Well, to put your curiosities at bay, a publicist at Tom Ford Beauty once said the name was “a 100% Tom decision. We don’t negotiate with Tom Ford”.

And it looks like the description resonated, because Ford released more Fucking Fabulous products yesterday. The new additions to the Tom Ford Fucking Fabulous Collection contain similar notes or, in the case of the lipstick, themes.

Tom Ford Fucking Fabulous Body Spray

The Tom Ford Fucking Fabulous All Over Body Spray meanwhile, can be worn alone from head to toe (consider it a gym bag essential) or layered layered on top of the Fucking Fabulous Eau de Parfum for a longer-lasting finish and to add a second dimension to the scent, an ultra sensual blend of rich leather and tonka bean, refreshing clary sage, powdery orris root, sweet vanilla and bitter almond.

Tom Ford Fucking Fabulous Candle

Tom-Ford-F.cking-Fabulous-Candle.jpg

For true lovers of the scent, you can now take your obsession one step further with a Fucking Fabulous candle. A decadent oriental leather scented candle with a name that says it all. Its intoxicating grip and warm glow, evokes private exchanges and insider moments where fantasies come true. The lavender and clary sage combine with amber, iris and tonka been for a luscious effect that is calling for a night in. The Fucking Fabulous Candle, comes in a sleek black glass jar with a graphic white label and 40 hours of burn time.

Notice: Do not burn longer than 1/2 hours or leave unattended. Allow to solidify before relighting. Should black smoke appear, trim the wick. It should be clean and no longer than 1/4.

Tom Ford Fucking Fabulous Flaming Crimson Lip Color

Tom-Ford-F.cking-Fabulous-Flaming-Crimson-Lip-Color.jpg

Last but certainly not least, the Fucking Fabulous Flaming Crimson Lip Color is a limited-edition lip color that makes a statement that’s anything but ordinary, in a bold, intensely shiny, vibrant true red. It comes in a matte black tube, but the vibrant hue has a high-shine and nourishing finish thanks to the infusion of chamomilla flower oil, soja seed extract and Brazilian murumuru butter. And in true Tom Ford style, it’s all in sleek, Limited Edition matte black packaging. (Fucking) Fabulous, indeed!

To round out the collection, there is also available a gift set on the company’s website.

Tom Ford Ombré Leather (2018)

Tom-Ford-Ombré-Leather-Banner

Fashion house Tom Ford creates breathtaking and outstanding fragrances, which can be easily worn by men and women as well. All of them are created of very rare and exquisite ingredients, nicely and temptingly sealed in amazing bottles to leave behind unforgettable aromas.

Tom Ford Ombré Leather is a deeply textural scent that imprints you with a tactile sensuality. It makes one feel different, beautiful, and desired.

Tom Ford

This autumn shows up a perfectly new perfume for both men and women, Tom Ford Ombré Leather 2018 – a flanker to Ombré Leather 16 from 2016. Leather notes in a perfume, especially in mens, are simply gorgeous. I simply adore the masculinity of leather and wood in a perfume that smells so unique and elegant.

Tom-Ford-Ombré-Leather-GIF

Tom Ford Ombré Leather 2018 is the new updated and modern version of the original perfume, which is more better improved. Those wearers that adored the original perfume or at least the Tuscan Leather perfume, will find the new version more captivating, tempting, not overpowering, and will get lots of compliments whenever put it on.

Vast. Untethered. Driven. Freedom comes from within, the desert heart of the west wrapped in leather. It moves forward, untethered, through the still air of wide-open space. Dust on wind, skin on skin, Ombré Leather reveals itself like a landscape in layers, where stretches of rock transform into sunrise blonde low on the horizon.

Top notes: Cardamom
Heart notes: Jasmine sambac, Leather
Base notes: Amber, Musk, Patchouili

Ombré Leather 2018 opens spicy cardamom notes along with intense leather accords and Jasmine Sambac. The woody base calms with amber, musk, and patchouli. Simple, yet memorizing and long-lasting.

I consider the new TF perfume an ideal accessory for any time of the year, and for any occasion. The intense leathery/woody fragrance is not overwhelming, yet maintaining a nice and lingering aroma.

Tom Ford Ombré Leather 2018 is available in 50 and 100ml Eau de Parfum.

Debut of Tom Ford’s 001 watches

Tom-Ford-001-Watch-1

After Tom Ford’s announcement back in January 2017, we finally get the first real look at Ford’s first timepiece. The Swiss-built timepiece sports a simple, rectangular design with Arabic numerals, made in collaboration with Bedrock Manufacturing.

An avid watch collector himself, American designer Tom Ford brings more than a little knowledge to bear on his eponymous 001 Watch. The sophisticated Swiss-made timepieces are finally launching to join Ford’s timeless empire of ready to wear, sunglasses, fragrances, handbags, and makeup.

Tom-Ford-001-Watch-5

Tom-Ford-001-Watch-3

Two sizes will be available, in a variety of case materials such as 18-karat yellow gold and matte black DLC. The collection also features a 62 interchangeable strap options in 30 shades, from hand-woven braided leather, pebbled grain leather to alligator. Colours span from neutrals like black, cognac, nude to brights like cerulean and saffron, which Ford emphasises that characterizes it as a uni-sex watch.

The watches are built alongside with Michigan design powerhouse Bedrock Manufacturing, the company behind Shinola and Filson. It isn’t exactly clear at this stage whether it houses a quartz or an automatic movement (it is pretty thin, which would suggest it might be quartz), and given Shinola’s movements have been, up until this point, provided by Ronda, it can be assumed that so will these. Ford’s timepieces may thus be designed with Ronda calibers with quartz, which is the supplier of the base movements used in Shinola and Filson watches. However, little is revealed on the movement from the release and we wait on Tom Ford for further details.

Initially unavailable online, the 001 is currently available at Tom Ford boutiques in New York, Beverly Hills, Las Vegas, Chicago, Dallas, Miami, Houston, Atlanta, Milan, London, Zurich, Hong Kong, Macau, Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Osaka, Tokyo, Nagoya, Kobe and Seoul (though apparently they will be up for sale on their web store ‘soon’).

Depending on an individual’s configuration, Tom Ford’s 001 watch prices will range from $2,190 to $10,100, depending on your configuration of case material and strap etc. Come into the world of Tom Ford watches and into the world of Ronda.

Tom Ford Eau de Soleil Blanc

Tom Ford Eau de Soleil Blanc Banner

American fashion designer Tom Ford launches a new exquisite and luxurious perfume for both men and women, Eau de Soleil Blanc. The new perfume is described to be addictive, radiant, delicious and crisp.

Eau de Solei Blanc embodies a refreshing illumination on Private Blend Soleil Blanc, bright, crisp and drenched with sparkling citrus. The vibrant twist on the floral amber warth mirrors the crystalline reflection of the white sun, a sensuous gleam of sky on water.

Tom Ford

Tom Ford Eau de Soleil Blanc appears to be fresh, citrusy, and luminous – a daily fragrance and a ‘light’ version rather than many others of its famous perfumes. This new edition promises to be fresh/citrusy for everyday wear. It opens with fresh orange, bergamot, petitgrain notes along with floral accords of orange blossom, galbanum, jasmine, tuberose, and seductive ylang-ylang. The base calms with sweet vanilla, benzoin, tonka bean, cardamom, and neroli.

Top notes: Neroli, Bergamot, Bitter orange, Cedar, Petitgrain, Pink pepper, Caraway, Cardamom, Roasted pistachio
Heart notes: Damask rose
Base notes: Amber, Tonka bean, Vanilla, Benzoin

American designer Tom is delighting its wearers with one more thrilling and luxurious masculine fragrance, Oud Wood Intense. Tom Ford Oud Wood Intense is the new flanker to Oud Wood perfume, created in 2007, that comes in a more concentration and intense formulation, but still, preserving the oud note in its composition means that it will also be an exquisite and eponymous new perfume.

Tom Ford Oud Wood Intense has a rich concentration of oud note along with elegant and lovely notes of angelica root, ginger, juniper as well as cypress, and castoreum accords.

Tom Ford Oud Wood Intense is available as 50 and 250ml Eau de Parfum.

Tom Ford crafts eponymous, luxurious and exquisite perfumes with high-end quality ingredients. After Tobacco Oud (2013) Tom Ford Tobacco Oud Intense shows up this autumn, as a new woody/spicy perfume for both men and women.

The new perfume is part of brands luxurious Private Blend perfume Collection and gets a deep and rich composition of perfectly balanced Arabic Doha Tobacco and Oud. As we all know, oud is a rare and expensive ingredient used in perfumes to underline its refinement and its delicate nature. For me, Tom Ford perfumes worth their money as they leave behind truly classic and elegant aromas.

Tom Ford Tobacco Oud Intense gets a soft balance between tobacco, oud and spices along with warm notes of amber, sandalwood, tonka bean, labdanum, cedar, and castoreum notes. Its for anyone seeking for a very special and beautiful fragrance, but doesn’t want to smell like its neighbour, then Tobacco Oud Intense is the right choice. Dare to always impress and delight with an exquisite smell.

A New Noir: Tom Ford touts latest fragrance

Tom Ford Antharcite 2

I consider Tom Ford perfumes one of the most unique and glamorous that define time. All Tom Ford fragrances are quality… Now the very talented fashion designer is launching a new fragrance within the sophisticated Noir collection, named Tom Ford Noir Anthracite and announced as the latest icon of seduction as well as a reflection of the light in the darkness. The Original Tom Ford Noir was introduced in 2012 as a woody and spicy oriental, followed by the 2013 Eau de Toilette flanker that offers a fresher interpretation, the 2015 spicy gourmand Tom Ford Noir Extrême and the feminine version Noir Pour Femme.

Tom-Ford-Noir-Anthracite-Fragrance-Campaign-Jon-Kortajarena

This autumn, the new masculine perfume is described as woody/spicy with an intense and daring aroma. Tom Ford Noir Anthracite carries the name of anthracite, a coal of dark gray color with a high gloss. The new composition, which is expected to portray a contrast between ‘brighter’ notes such as citruses and ‘dark’ woody ones, begins with fresh bergamot and spicy accords on a background of dark woods, including sandalwood from Sri Lanka, cedar wood and macassar wood, a sort of ebony endemic to the island of Sulawesi in Indonesia, to evoke the impression of warm skin.

tom-ford-noir-anthracite.jpg

Leading model Jon Kortajarena stars in Tom Ford’s latest fragrance campaign. The Spanish model fronts the advertisement for Ford’s new cologne. Kortajarena reunites with Ford after previous stints as the face of the brand and a role in his critically acclaimed film A Single Man. Laying in bed shirtless, Kortajarena appears before the lens of photography duo, Mert & Marcus.

I will definitely sniff this one out when it is released…. Tom Ford Noir Anthracite is available as 50 and 100ml.

The decadent Noir Gourmand Accord is balanced by Patchouli-incense and Vetiver. Vanilla tears add a fluid creaminess to warm Balsam and smooth Sandalwood.

I have always loved ‘Soul Train’, which used to be on TV in 70s, as it was much about the clothes as the music. I asked Nile Rodgers to collaborate on a new version of one of his greatest hits from that time, ‘I want your love’, and worked with Gaga to record the vocals.
