Dutch fashion designers Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren have unveiled the new luxury, limited edition of the bestseller of the fashion house, Flowerbomb from 2005, available in a specially designed Swarovski crystal flacon. Originally designed by Fabian Baron, the new unique design is very delicate and handmade. Each crystal on the bottle is added by hand and creates geometric patterns on the flacon. A limited edition specialty was produced in the jewelry studio, and over the years the technique has been refined and used for custom design.
The oriental-floral fragrance of Flowerbomb was created and signed by perfumers Oliver Polge, Dominique Ropion, Carlos Benaim and Domitille Michalon Bertier. For this exclusieve edition, the composition of the scent remains unchanged. The sweetness of the flowers unique contrasted with the tea notes and patchouli make this fragrance unique and addictive.
The opening of the fragrance tingle with fresh accords of Indian osmanthus, bergamot and tea; The heart is dominated by Cattleya orchid, floral and opulent with intensive, sweet, and pure Sambac jasmine, seductive centifolia rose, orange blossom, and freesia, while the base is composed of a blend of musk and patchouli.
The truly exclusive edition is available in 20 bottles sold worldwide in 100ml Eau de Parfum, designed to be refilled with Flowerbomb. The price of this special edition is $1800.
Fashion house Viktor & Rolf returns five years after cessation of the ready-to-wear branch back with a menswear collection called Mister Mister. Mister Mister is an extension of the personal wardrobes of Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren.
Mister Mister is an intimate reflection, understated but with clever details a series of tactile and patchwork prints.
Mister Mister combines tailoring with casual wear. The line has a recognizable pattern of a top hat that forms a thread through the collection. The reference to dandies plays the tone. Nice detail: overstock fabrics of recent Haute Couture collections are used for various details on the items.
A previously menswear line of Viktor & Rolf was named Monsieur. Victor & Rolf Mister Mister collection contains about 130 units and pricing will be between 100 and 2000 euros. Mister Mister will from July in stores.
Fashion house Viktor & Rolf, which specialises in creating conceptual and avant-garde designs, was founded in 1993 by Dutch designers Viktor Horsting (born 1969, Geldrop) and Rolf Snoeren (born 1969, Dongen). For more than twenty years Viktor & Rolf have sought to challenge preconceptions of fashion, and bridge the divide between fashion and art. Viktor & Rolf have designed both haute couture ad ready-to-wear collections. The duo is renowned for their avant-garde designs, which rely heavily on theatrical and performative fashion runways. After their graduation in at the famous Arnhem Academy of Art and Design, the pair began working together and relocated to Paris.
Initial collections established the extravagant silhouettes, witty use of materials and irreverent concepts the designers would come to be known for. In 2000, Viktor & Rolf launched their company logo of a wax seal bearing the monogram V&R, and began to devote their artistic talent to ready-to-wear collections. In 2003, the designers launched a Menswear collection which co-existed alongside the women’s line until 2009. In 2015, the designers halted the ready-to-wear production and returned once more to haute couture citing that they wanted to ‘explore the limits of wearability, function and form’. Additionally, like evey respected couture house Viktor & Rolf created some beautiful perfumes: like the female fragrance Flowerbomb (2004) and the male fragrance Antidote (2006), and Spicebomb (launched in 2012), and their flankers.
This month, a new version of the iconic masculine scent from Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb (launched is 2012) will be launched. Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb Night Vision is the first flanker since the Spicebomb Extreme edition from 2015.
Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb Night Vision is all about a classic and elegant aroma, long-lasting and truly seductive. Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb Night Vision is an explosive contrast of green freshness and dark spices. It’s a very sensual fragrance, powerful and alluring, it is designed for night time. Darkness and mystery are new themes that are introduced to the line of this flanker.
The man we envision wearing Spicebomb Night Vision is daring – he is eager to be seen and desired.

Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb is among my favorite women’s perfumes. The fashion duo created a stunning, sensual, and delicious perfume. Now this year they are impressing with a new edition – Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Nectar.
The original version is considered to be a top-selling perfume with a nice aroma ideal for daily use. I like Flowerbomb perfume as it is not too powerful, nor long-lasting and sensual. I liked it when it calms on someone’s skin or clothing and leaves behind an irresistible, fabulous fragrance. The new edition is more about a sweet/aromatic/floral perfume with a nicely balanced composition of white flowers and sweet vanilla note.
Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Nectar is a strong floral/oriental perfume opening with fresh bergamot oil and sweet blackcurrant syrop along with floral nectar of Sambac jasmine and Orange flower note. The base calms with sweet accords of osmanthus, creamy vanilla along with spicy hues of Tonka bean and benzoin.
Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Nectar preserves the same bottle shape and design as the original version from 2015, yet with a paler pink color.
Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Nectar is available as 30, 50 and 90ml Eau de Parfum.
Dutch fashion designers Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren moved to Paris in 1993 to start a long career in the Couture collections. The first perfume of Viktor & Rolf, Flowerbomb was launched in 2005 and coincided with the spring of that year.
Now the fashion house is going to make a great new man scent! After the success of the explosive female flower perfume Flowerbomb, now its turn to the men. Another exciting rich scent, in a more than amazing bottle of Spicebomb, a hand grenade, will be launched this weekend with The Bijenkorf in Amsterdam.
Created by Olivier Polge, Spicebomb is a mix of fiery & male fries like chili pepper, saffron, leather, tobacco and vetiver. Strikingly, after the explosive opening, you also smell fresh nuts such as bergamot, grapefruit, elemi and pink pepper. I am very curious!
And what do you think of the photography by Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin? The face of Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb is model Sean O’Pry’s.
Are you a true Viktor & Rolf fan and looking for something special? Then I would recommend you to go to the Bijenkorf in Amsterdam on Sunday, January 22, 2012 (from 13:00) for the national premiere. The first 100 bottles that are sold are genuine collector items, they feature a unique engraving and a Viktor & Rolf certificate of authenticity. As long as stock lasts and max. 100 pieces, make sure you are there!
Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb is available as 50 and 90ml Eau de Toilette, from 55 euro.
