The New Nina Ricci Scent Was Inspired By a Ladurée Macaron

Ever wanted to smell like a macaron? I can’t believe you’ve considered it, but I’m sure you’ll super-excited about an upcoming fragrance that was inspired by the delectable macarons from famed Parisian patisserie Ladurée. It’s called La Tentation de Nina, and it’s being introduced next month by Maison Nina Ricci. If you love macarons and you love fruity-floral perfumes, this will be a match made in beauty heaven!

Here’s the signature apple-shaped bottle in hot pink

Perfumer Oliver Cresp, who was also behind the Nina L’Eau launch we added last year – and many other beautiful fragrances! – created this scent in partnership with Ladurée Head Pastry Chef Vincent Lemains; it features notes of bergamot, grapefruit, macaron accord (raspberry, almond, lemon, rose), bourbon vanilla, withe musk and sandalwood.

French Maison Ladurée will be selling a beautiful and delicious matching macaron, inspired by the aromas of luxury perfume.

 

And there will also be a beautiful luxe candle to fill your room with La Tentation de Nina in a very subtile way. 

The campaign of La Tentation de Nina will feature Swedish model Frida Gustavsson again, reprising the role of a girl becoming a woman.

Nina Ricci La Tentation de Nina will be available as 50ml Eau de Toilette for a limited time in April at all fine department stores and selected stores. The candle and macarons will be available at Ladurée stores in France and abroad.

French Maison Nina Ricci launches a new apple design perfume for most romantic, adorable and audacious women, La Tentation de Nina. As the name of the perfume inspires, Nina Ricci La Tentation de Nina is a sweet temptation and a new delicious perfume that emanates a gorgeous smell that is simply irresistible.

La Tentation de Nina is created in collaboration with master chef Vincent Lemains of Parisian patisserie Ladurée and perfumer Oliver Cresp. The new perfume has a delicious aroma, just like a sweet macaron that tempts you to try it.

Nina Ricci La Tentation de Nina is a more intense perfume, as it is announce to please more the mature generation. Despite the fact that this amazing perfume is dedicated to macarons, it is not as sweet as one can imagine. La Tentation de Nina is a fruity/floral perfume composed of citrusy bergamot along with notes of raspberry, almond, lemon and Bulgarian rose absolut, while the base dries down with amazing white musk, vanilla and sandalwood.

Nina Ricci La Tentation de Nina has the same apple design as the original Nina perfume, yet updated with gold ornaments inspiring a more mature and feminine perfume.

Nina Ricci La Tentation de Nina will be available at the beginning of the 2014 year as a limited edition perfume.
