Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair

Estee Lauder Serums Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex IIWith this windy and rainy october weather, I’m looking for a skin saviour, one that hydrates and reduces fine lines. One of my all time favorites is Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II serum.

The Estée Lauder Advanced Repair has been Estée Lauder’s best selling product over 30 years. The formula has been reformulated over the past years resulting in the Synchronized Recovery Complex II. This latest version of the Estee Lauder Advanced Repair won numerous beauty prizes such as the InStyle Best Beauty Buy Awards 2014 Winner and the Elle Beauty Awards 2013 Winner.

But does that mean it works? First of all, in my humble opinion a beauty product can’t permanently erase wrinkles totally (and no Botox is not a beauty product). I do think, however, that a beauty product can improve the appearances of your skin a lot and may work as an anti-aging product. One of the reasons why I’ve been using the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair.

Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair, not just a true classic, but a Holy Grail (Click photo to enlarge).

Use the serum before your night cream or moisturiser in the evening by massaging it over your face and neck. The serum is a transparent fluid with a slightly orange colour and a pleasant smell. It’s vèry quickly absorbed by the skin without being sticky. When it is sticky: then you have used fàr too much, so the skin can’t absorbe it anymore.

A few drops is enough (Click photo to enlarge).

I clean my skin, apply the Night Repair, brush my teeth and then apply my night cream  (just to make sure that it’s completely absorbed).

Because I love serums so much I’ve been using the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair am and pm. It maximizes the power of skin’s natural nighttime renewal. Skin feels smoother, hydrated, stronger, and lines and wrinkles look significantly reduced. Skin looks younger, more radiant, more even toned, it looked healthier, fresher and more rested in just for weeks!

Reveal a smoother, more radiant, younger look. Wake up to more beautiful skin every day.

In the time I traveled a lot to India (high humidity) and the outback of Turkey, Syria and Jordan (dry, vèry high temperateurs), sometimes I even used it for my body. In the evenings, after showering, applying a few drops on arms, hands, feet and underlegs. Sometimes in combination with (thin) aftersun or bodylotion. Walking through the hot outback is an attack on your skin. It is decadent to use a serum this way, but it’s comfortable (not sticky!), and it works perfect! It is costly, but on the other hand, if you look at the total sum of the trip, and the limited amount (weight and volume!) of what you have to take with you… it can’t be more perfect!

How to use:

Apply several drops on clean skin before your moisturizer. Smooth in gently all over face and throat

  1. Apply a drop on each fingertip of one hand.
  2. Touch fingertips of both hands together.
  3. Massage serum over face and neck, starting at the center, outward.

Tips:

  • On summer holidays: Leave your daycream at home. Use Advanced Night Repair in combination with your (Estée Lauder) suncream (as daycream) and aftersun! The perfect way to repair your skin, and keep your skin hydrated.
  • Before sleeping: apply one drop (for both hands) on the back of your hand, under your favorite (Estée Lauder) handcream.
  • Women: hide it for your boyfriend, husband, sons and daughters! When they discover this little magic from a bottle…
