Since it first saw the light, the Maison Louis Vuitton based all its creations on travel, and the proof is the famed trunk – which has now become an icon of the fashion world in its own right. This time around, the celebrated fashion house dives deeper into the intimacy and the abstraction of this continuous movement to nourish the skin, instead of the body and spirit, with captivating perfumes.
Unexpected emotions were in the mind of Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud – native of Grasse, the land of perfume and leatherwork – when he travelled the five continents in search for exotic and rare materials. His aim was to create scents that transport the person who smells them to the other side of their own world.
Les parfums Louis Vuitton are seven scents bursting with femininity: Rose des Vents, Turbulences, Dans La Peau, Apogée, Contre Moi, Matière Noire and Mille Feux. The photo’s below will take you on a journey to the world of emotions, so let the adventure begin!
Louis Vuitton Apogée
Apogée illustrates the eternal renewal through a mix of lily-of-the-valley, Grasse jasmine, Chinese Magnolia, a CO2 extraction of May rose from Grasse, smoky guaiac wood and sandalwood essence.
Louis Vuitton Contre Moi
Contre Moi mixes between the Madagscar Vanilla infusion, animal absolute, Tahitensis vanilla, orange blossom, rose centifolia from Grasse, essence of magnolia, a subtle touch of bitter cocoa, ambrette seed, pear liqueur and soft musk.
Louis Vuitton Matière Noire

Louis Vuitton Rose des Vents
Rose des Vents is as airy as it is silky soft and transports us to Grasse and gets us to a field of centifolia. Centifolia absolute comes together with the Turkish rose essence, Bulgarian rose essence, Florentine iris, Virginia cedar and pepper.
Louis Vuitton Dans La Peau
Dans La Peau explores the senses through a blend of an exclusive natural leather infusion from Louis Vuitton’s workshops, almost-candied apricot, a CO2 extraction of Jasmine from Grasse exclusive to the Maison Louis Vuitton and sambac jasmine from China, along with the absolute of narcissus, musk and Chinese magnolia.
Louis Vuitton Mille Faux
Mille Feux is an exciting mix of leather infusion, Chinese osmanthus, white flower, animal and apricot scents, a touch of iris, saffron and sweet raspberry.
Engrave the bottle with your initials or a special date, either in tone-on-tone or with a gold finish, creating a permanent and personal emblem on the glass.

Thanxx! Glad you liked it.
I still didn’t find out wich one is my favorite….
I have the set that contains all seven scents in 10ml-sized bottles (see above), I would like to have (once) the (stunning!) monogrammed travel case that holds three full-sized bottles of the fragrance of choice… Maybe once…
